Everything you need to know about the Run for Faith and Service 2026 — who organises it, why it exists, and what your participation means.
The Run for Faith and Service 2026 is a fundraising road race organised by the Communication Network for Catholic Sisters (CNCS) — an organisation that equips Catholic Sisters with professional media and communications skills so they can better share their missions and advocacy work across Zambia and beyond.
CNCS trains Sisters in photography, videography, journalism, and digital communication — giving them tools to document their communities, tell their stories, and amplify the voices of those they serve. The photos and videos you see throughout this site were made by Sisters trained through CNCS.
Every stride taken on June 6th brings us closer to giving 200 children a dignified, nourishing space to call their own.
This year, CNCS turns its platform towards a cause close to its heart: the children of Chileshe Chepele Special Needs Boarding School. The school serves children with various disabilities and special learning needs — and its kitchen is in urgent need of reconstruction. Every K400 registration fee goes directly to that construction project.
Three race distances — 2.5km, 5km, and 10km — ensure that everyone, from first-time participants to seasoned runners, can take part. You don't have to be fast. You just have to show up.
Friday, 6 June 2026. St Mary's Secondary School, Woodlands, Lusaka. Gates open at 06:00.
Three distances: 2.5km Fun Run, 5km Community Race, and 10km Challenge. One entry fee of K400 covers all categories.
100% of registration fees go directly towards constructing a modern, fully equipped kitchen for Chileshe Chepele Special Needs Boarding School in Kasama. No administration fees deducted.
Registration closes June 3rd. Limited spots available across all three categories.
